The Food Services Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of entrees and other hot food items to include, but not limited to, meats, vegetables, soups, sauces, etc. Additionally, the Food Services Coordinator is responsible for the sanitary handling and preparation of food using standardized recipes and meeting daily meal schedules, serving required portions, utilizing leftovers, and caring for cleaning equipment used. The Food Services Coordinator is also responsible for the day-to-day coordination of food service actives and providing the level of supervision necessary so that quality services and excellent customer service are provided.


1. High school graduate or equivalent. Must have ability to communicate effectively in English. Must have ability to perform basic
math, understand measurements, and follow written and oral instructions.
2. Culinary education required.
3. Five years’ experience cooking in a restaurant, hotel, club, or retirement community, etc.
4. Must be knowledgeable about developing meals to respond to special dietary needs (e.g. low sugar, low sodium, and low fat).
